Freelance Backend Developer

Touchtribe is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join the team on a freelance basis, to provide their sage wisdom on Symfony & Akeneo for a few of our projects.

Touchtribe is a cloud native development agency, specialized in developing cloud native digital e-commerce platforms and business portals. We are also part of MakerStreet; an Amsterdam-based collective of agencies working together towards digital perfection. Together we develop websites, apps, content and other digital solutions for major brands and organizations such as Nationale Nederlanden, Albert Heijn, Mediahuis and Rabobank, to name a few.

We are looking for a Backend Developer with expertise in Akeneo to join our team serving Magento webshop-based clients. You have a proven track record in software development and have extensive experience with Symfony (as well as PHP) and Akeneo (Magento additionally being a pre). For these projects, you will be working with legacy codebases. Nonetheless, quality is a high priority for you and you ensure that the work is delivered according to high standards and within the discussed time frame. Your work will consist of discussing the feature requirements with the customer, define the approach to a feature with the team and develop the features accordingly, working in tandem with our Magento specialist.
